These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("you", "your", or "the user") and Huse Media Inc., operating as Boceto ("Boceto", "we", "us", or "our"), the operator of the Boceto application and website at boceto.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Boceto is a tool that helps tradespeople and small businesses create estimates and invoices, including features that use artificial intelligence to draft line items and prices from your description. Boceto is a software tool only — it is not an accountant, lawyer, tax advisor, or bookkeeper.
The Service is currently offered as an early-access or beta product. This means it may contain bugs, may change, may be unavailable at times, and data may be lost. You use the Service at your own risk and should keep your own copies of any estimate, invoice, or client information that matters to you.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly at support@boceto.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaking the law; uploading content you don't have the right to use; sending spam; attempting to access other users' data; reverse-engineering, overloading, or disrupting the Service; or using it to create false or fraudulent documents.
You keep ownership of the information you put into Boceto (your business details, your clients, your estimates and invoices). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content only to operate the Service for you.
You are responsible for the information you enter about your clients (such as their names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses) and you confirm you have the right to enter it. As between you and us, you are the owner of that client information and are responsible for how you use it and for complying with privacy laws that apply to you.
Boceto can generate suggested line items, descriptions, prices, and tax amounts using AI. These are drafts and estimates only. They may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and approving every estimate and invoice before you send it, including all prices, quantities, taxes, and legal or regulatory requirements that apply to your trade and location. Boceto does not provide tax, accounting, legal, or professional advice.
The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or change pricing in the future; if we do, we will give you notice before any fees apply to you, and any payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor (for example, Stripe).
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also delete data, accounts, or the entire Service, particularly during the beta period. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice where practical, but we are not required to. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Because of this, you should regularly export or keep your own copies of any documents you need.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data will be preserved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boceto and Huse Media Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service — even if we were advised such damages were possible. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) CAD $100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boceto and Huse Media Inc. from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your dealings with your clients, or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where reasonable, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
